well i posted in here some threads cos i failed too burn several times a video_ts that dvd2one has created!!I used nero or instant cd/dvd or stomp or prassi and it really all failed !!
You know why.....well ...i allways use a dvd -rw to test it...
now i have several times copied videofiles to the same disk ==>erased several times(maybe 10 or 15 times)Now i took another dvd disk too try it and it worked !!!
So maybe if you erase a disk too much he becomes corrupt i think !!!

Maybe the DVD-RW disc got corrupted or dirty.

However the life of a DVD-RW is reported to being 1000 re-records. DVD+RW for that matter is supposed to be limitless

well maybe yess....dunno...too bad for my dvd -rw its expensive

How much are you paying for DVD-RW? I just received some datasafe RW's for 89p each, and so far they seem to work fine!

so its in euro to me
a dvd -r is 7 euro
and a dvd -rw is abouth 12 euro i guess

Is is absoluty nescary to open a new thread for this?

I use the demo Gear Professional 6.03 they have a new version just recently and always use DVD-Video then type in the name of movie and before that you got to use your usual method of how you rip a movie onto your hard drive and what you use for ifoedit and make sure the movie is under or at 4.37. Make sure that you use a DVD+RW to make sure the movie works. Sometimes I use the DVD+RW and sometimes just the DVD+R. I've been lucky and so far the Gear Pro has makes perfect readable disc for my standalone and dvd rom for the PC. I only use nero for music..

I had a problem with a DVD-RW recently and fixed it by using "FULL" erase function in Prassi
