hey, well firstly, last night i had a quick go with DVD2ONE and MAKEITEASY. (the makeiteasy gui is rather confusing, with the way it is worded - but its 3rd party sooo (i think)) - i tried R2/UK/PAL Band Of Brothers Disk 1.

anyway today i scrapped what i did last night because i wasnt sure if i'd done everything right as i was half asleep. so i started from scratch. waking up still made the makeiteasy gui no easier to understand

i ripped the whole disc to my pc, using DVD Decrypter in file mode, and then began the "makeiteasy" process, i got all the way through and thought everything was fine.

i burnt it off onto a dvd-rw and placed the disc in my Dansai 1010, everything is on the DVD-rw however the order is worse than "broke". the intro is chapter 14... and i have a blank chapter... no menu...

anyway, answering your question, MakeItEasy/IfoEdit makes the "vobs" appear as one in DVD2ONE so when selecting the main movie, it appears as one "2 hour" file instead of one "1 hour episode"

i just need to try a "movie" thats bigger than 4.7 gig to see if ive done something wrong, which i guess, or to see if its the thing with the "episodes" that is causing something to go wrong.

This is the easiest way to backup multiple PGC movies such as Band of Brothers, etc. This method also works for Episode DVD's such as the Sopranos, Sanford & Son and the like. Rip the main files in file mode with decryptor. Open ifoedit and click VOB extras, then create new ifos. This will make the 2 PGC movie a 1 pgc movie. Now dvd2one will process it normally.
