Ricoh 2x burned at 2x

ATIP: 97m 27s 65f
Disc Manufacturer: Ricoh Company Ltd.
Assumed Dye type: Phthalocyanine (Type 5)
Media type: CD-Recordable
Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown
nominal Capacity: 651.86MB (74m 12s 00f / LBA: 333750)

Sold as KAO-2x-74min:

I am providing these results from CDRs burned AT LEAST 2 years or so ago. They have been kept in CD Cases or CD Wallets for the duration, and NO physical damage is on them. All CDs were burned with either a Ricoh 6200A (latest firmware), Ricoh 7040A (latest firmware), or Ricoh 7200A (latest firmware). Some tests are not quite the full capacity (74 or 80 min), but are relatively close. These results may be helpful to those who have stored media on these specific mediums and are woried about the CDRs data corruption.

COMMENTS: This disc was recorded in December of 2002 on a friend's LiteON LTR-52246S (hence I'm not sure of the firmware version) and read back on my LiteON LTR-32123S with XS0X firmware. The disc was subjected to high temperatures and day-to-day use from new. I'm pleased at how well these discs hold up to rough treatment.
