| Lead Data 48x burned at 48x LTR-52426S - 6S0D 700MB image This Disc is designed for CD-RW/COMBO Drive Only. Disc Type, Material = CD-R, Cyanine ATIP Lead-in = 97m 26s 54f Norminal Capacity = 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f) Disc Manufacturer maybe = ASKA,LeadData SMART-BURN Speed Limit = 48X Sold as Jensen 48x. My Asus 52x drive limits this media to 16x. The LiteOn drive slowed at about 70% and completed the burn at 32x. Note that the C2 errors occur even in the area where the burn speed is 32x. Burning an entire disc at 32x produces the same results. I later discovered that the LiteOn drives do not like to read this media faster than about 32x. Reading them at lower speeds produces a fairly normal scan.  Last edited by rdgrimes; 17-09-2003 at 00:13. |

| Gear Head branded Lead Data 52× CD-R burned at 24× LG GSA-H22N 1.02, time 77:23:02, scanned at 24X with Nero CD DVD Speed 4.7.5.0 Sold as "GEAR HEAD 700MB 52X CD-R 100 Packs Cake Box Disc - Retail" by NewEgg, et al Marked "M5 FKUX" and "M3062311061" near the spindle opening Made in Taiwan Other than higher than average C1 errors and lower than average Nero Disc Quality scores (low to mid 90's) these appear to be okay, so far - longevity is a concern.
