What type media were you using, I've done a few bakups with CloneDVD to check it out now with my ND-1100A and have not had any problems.

It even managed to erase a weird Smartbuy DVD+RW I had that other soft could'nt and reuse the disc.

I'm using the 1.A1 firmware.

writedvd 8 means - it couldn't eject the disc.

You can

1.) Ignore it - the disc should be burnt fine

or

2.) Uninstall the "INTEL Application Acceleration" (or similar) driver which causes this problem with NEC ND-1000A / 1100A.

Have fun,

Oliver
