CloneDVD Discuss, why is it taking 45 mins to burn 1 dvdr? at Copy Movie forum; i have nec 2500 x8 writer. it is taking me over 45 minutes just to copy movie only without menus why is it taking longer to burn. i use option 1 copy dvd titles. anyone know why this long to burn? thank you

why is it taking 45 mins to burn 1 dvdr?

i have nec 2500 x8 writer.

it is taking me over 45 minutes just to copy movie only without menus

why is it taking longer to burn.

i use option 1 copy dvd titles.


anyone know why this long to burn?

Is this a new problem? Did it start with a new program? Is this burner new to your PC? Can you give more information?

Are you sure it is taking 45 minutes to burn? or is it taking 45 minutes to Transcode the DVD THEN Burn.

This is a perfectly normal Transcoding / Burning time

total time to read and write 45 mins to burn.

where am i going wrong i am choosing the option x8 spped.

Is your current media capable of burning @ 8x ?

you've nothing to worry about, 45' is normal for transcoding + writing.

Not to forget ripping (if AnyDVD is used). A lot of drives read CSS protected discs rather slow.

also why can i not burn another dvd straight after another one....
getting error messages for some resons.

any ideas?
