We have received several customer reports about this disc. It has a new version of Sony arccos copy protection, which is not removed by AnyDVD or DVDDecrypter.
I don't have this DVD for testing (release date is 16. November 2004, you must have a rental version).

But you can try this AnyDVD beta version:

http://update.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD4102.exe

Let me know, if this fixes the problem.

it seems that it works (have it on my hd now, playback seems to be ok), the combination DVDDecrypter - AnyDVD is ok but cloneDVD can't handle the files!

You can try other software until we have a final solution. Does DVDShrink work with this disc now?

Re: Walking Tall - Clone Spec 4 TCE

DVDShrink is not working correctly, the error occures when 96 percent are encrypted....

DVDDecrypter fails at the same position when i select all files, when i select the main movie only, decrypting is sucessful. In both cases (all files and main movie) i get the MSG "PACK HEADER NOT FOUND" for the sectors 555260 up to 555359 then "Too many "Pack Header not found errors" follwed by logging has haltend for now
DVDShrink is not able to open the movie files which are extracted with DVDDecrypter.

i'll try to burn the movie today...i can give you some information about the playback on my standalone then

I the other day received the same kinda message ( which has never been seen before )
while trying to copy Bionicle 2 for my kid.
DVDShrink did work fine with that disc though.

CloneDVD "CloneSpec 4 error" means, that two different VOBUS start at the same sector, which is wrong. I assume, that in your case this is not intended (copy protection?) but simply a manufacturing (mastering) error.
I would love to offer you a workaround, but I need your help as a tester (I don't have this Bionicle 2 disc, and I have no intentions to buy it ... )
First make sure, if it really was "CloneSpec 4 error". Thanks!
