Unable to read video files

When I try to copy a DVD-RW with a program I recorded from the tv with CloneDVD, I get the message:
E:/VIDEO_TS.IFO: unable to open file

The volume does not contain a recognized file system
Please make sure that all required file system are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted

What is the reason and what should I do? Is the DVD-RW the problem?
Thanks

tomcat71 –

Welcome to the Forum.

The Undisclosed Software Program or the procedure you used to author and compile the TeleVision Program to DVD Video format could cause the problem you are describing.

If would be helpful for you to describe in detail exactly what Hardware Equipment and Software Program(s) and what procedures you used to convert a TeleVision Program to DVD Video format.

Re: Unable to read video files

Hi,

I recorded the tv programs with a Toshiba D-VR25Sb dvd recorder directly connected to the tv. I haven't used any software at all.
The only thing I did is to format the dvd-rw in V mode and Finalised it (to be able to play the dvd with other players, as recommended by in the dvd recorder instruction manual)
The problem starts when I put the dvd in the computer and try to use clone dvd.
Maybe I should have format the DVD in VR mode or not finelised it?
Thanks
