CloneDVD Discuss, Time Remaining is off by a minute at Copy Movie forum; Anyone ever noticed the Remaining Time is off by a minute when doing a disc? When it gets to 5 minutes left a minute will go by then 4:59,4:58,4:57 and so on. So it's off by a minute.

Re: Time Remaining is off by a minute

when it says 5 minutes it really means 5:59 to 5:00...then it goes and does the normal by the second countdown....4:59...4:58 etc....so if you see that it has say....13 minutes...it's counting down to 13:00...not 13 minutes to 12 but 14 to 13...hope it not confusing..

Nero tends to give a more accurate remaining burn time figure although even that can change half way thru the burn.

It could just be that the time is adjusting to the speed of the burn.
