The shield copy problem

This is my first problem I have ran into? Ok here goes The video is :"The shield" season 3 disc-2 episodes 5-8

I have the latest of CloneDVD with anyDVD...When I try to copy right off the bat it comes up with DATA ERROR (cycle redundancy check). Under details I get D/Video........followed with 23TCsector reader?

under the processing it says D/video......VOB. read error

Any idea? yes I cleaned the video and I have never had a problem till now

@ Booyah,

When someone states “I have the latest of CloneDVD with AnyDVD” does not actually provide Forum Members reading your posting information on what versions of the software you are actually using. To avoid any confusion that is why it is requested that you state the version number you are using.

Suggest viewing the below Forum posting concerning CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) data error notification. Notice the Comments in posting #6 by Olli the author of CloneDVD/CloneCD and instrumental in the development of AnyDVD.

Quite possible the CRC error notification you are receiving could be caused by a defective original Commercial DVD Movie Title disk.

Best Regards,
bjkg

Back to the problem... either your disc is damaged (scratch, dirt), poorly manufactured or your DVD reader is damaged. Can you try a different drive for reading? Or this disc has a new form of copy protection which AnyDVD is not able to handle. This unlikely, because I would expect none of the discs in your box set to copy. Anyay, it doesn't hurt to send the .ifo files of the disc in question to SlySoft support for examination.
If there is a nre protection, they will make a fix.
