CloneDVD Discuss, processing error at Copy Movie forum; trying to copy a dvd to my hard drive and I am gettinga data error (cyclic redundancy check) please clean the surface of the media? what does this error message mean and how can I fix it? cleaned the surface and same error pops up? help me please

It means any of the following:
The dvd is scratched or dirty or
Your dvd reader is dirty or the laser is failing,
or, if it is a burned or copied dvd, it was cheap media or a bad burn.
Those are the main ones.
Do you have another drive or another pc to try it in.

There is another possibility: The DVD in question has a new copy protection. Update AnyDVD to the most recent version (enable the update check).

Further to Tru's post - what is the movie (and what region) and what version of AnyDVD are you using? But as Tru said - get the lastes version from www.slysoft.com.
