I am somewhat new to this. I'm trying to backup my copy of 'Lady and the Tramp' with AnyDVD and CloneDVD2. The UPC# is 7 17951-0039-9 7, Region 1, USA.

This disc plays on the set-top dvd deck, and plays well; but it does not want to play on a computer DVD-drive.

Following is the information I receive from the programs:

AnyDVD Information (Trial Version):

Media is not CSS protected.

Found and removed RCE protection!
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Changed firstplay: Jump directly to Title 1!
Structural copy protection not found.
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Bad sector protection not found.
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!


CloneDVD2 (Trial Version) error info:

Unable to read video files from
D:/VIDEO_TS
D:/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.IFO:unable to open file
Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
Please be sure that all required files are available and try again.


When I view the disc structure I see, depending on the computer and DVD drive I use, either a Video_TS folder that is void of files, or 19 various .ifo, .vob and .bup files, all 0 KB in size. I cannot copy the .ifo files; a 'cyclic redundancy check' error is returned.

Any suggestions on how to get around this?
