| Problem with Burning Movie Onto Disk. Source data to large? Alright here is the problem. I am trying to copy Forest Gump. I only have one hard drive on my computer and when i go to put in the dvd after the video is done getting ripped it says. Writing to Video Was Not Successful Source Data Too Large This Writer is not capable of writing the source data as requested To Write these DVC Files please use the "copy Dvd titles" or "Clone Dvd" option from the star screen. My computer is a Dell 9300 laptop and it said that it had dvd writing capabilities. Thanks CD/DVD Drives 8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability 8XDVDRW Any advice would be greatly appreciated |

| Re: Problem with Burning Movie Onto Disk. Source data to large? check the setting at the bottom of the opening screen. (the screen after you choose whether you're cloning, or copying one or more titles) make sure it's set to DVD-5 if you're burning to a single layer disc. you're probably set to "DVD+R DL" which is for double layer discs only. |
