CloneDVD Discuss, Preserving menus when removing chapters... at Copy Movie forum; Hi, Couldn't see this previously answered here, but what happens when I preserve menus and then remove some chapters? Does the menu option for that chapter just do nothing? Or does the menu option actually dissappear from the menu screen? Thanks

Preserving menus when removing chapters...

Hi,

Couldn't see this previously answered here, but what happens when I preserve menus and then remove some chapters? Does the menu option for that chapter just do nothing? Or does the menu option actually dissappear from the menu screen?

Thanks

It does nothing. It is impossible to remove all unneeded menus automatically, e.g. scene selections pointing to removed chapters.

Cool thing: If you removed the first half of a movie, selecting any removed scene will jump directly to the first chapter which is present.

You can easily try it first: Just put CloneDVD's output on harddisk and watch it with a DVD player software. If you are satisfied, burn it using the 3rd button.

OK, I'll try that. Thanks for the tip.
