Re: Is this possible and some how to?

Go to www.slysoft.com and download AnyDVD and CloneDVD2. Install and enjoy.

Please do read the FAQs on this site. They are excellent.

Re: Is this possible and some how to?

No, You will Require Ripping and Burning Software.

Since your computer came with a DVD writer and DVD rom drive you should already have software installed or discs with software provided to do this. Such as Sonic MyDVD. However...

This will only let you copy unprotected movies. Such as Home movies etc

Most if not all commercially produced movies/dvds are copy protected and have various copy protections to stop people making illegal copies to sell etc.

However these can be removed using various software available to make backups of your OWN PURCHASED MOVIES/DVD'S for safe keeping.

For this I cannot recommend more slysofts/elbys cloneDVD2 and AnyDVD.

IMO the best and most reasonbly priced software about, which is reguarly updated and supported.
