Welcome to the forum

Have you tried to download again anydvd? Maybe because of a corrupted download your file is damaged in some way.

Maybe the "corrupted" download sits in your cache, so redownload won't work. Delete your temporary internet files (cache) and redownload again.

Re: nsis error with download

It seems that I have a problem. I purchased a downloadable version of Clone DVD 2 a couple of days ago and Elaborate Bytes sent me the Key.Clone DVD, which I saved to my harddrive and then doubled clicked on to install, but when I did, windows told me that it did not recognize the file extension type and could not open the file. It asked me what program was used to create it and I have no idea. I did a search on the web but could find no information on the file extension (File XT), so I am unable to install my purchased software. I had a previous version of Clone DVD, but I removed it before purchasing the newer one. I already have ANY DVD on my machine. I am running under Win. XP Pro. I did write to tech support at Elby and received a reply simply telling me that the software had to be installed...I knew that but still cannot get it to install, since Windows does not recognize it. I wrote back to Elby trying to further explain the situation, but have heard nothing from them in the past 36 hours or so. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
psc

Reinstall the trial version. The filetype will then be known.
