Not enough space

Hi Everyone!
I am using clonedvd2 for burning and I ran into a problem with not having enough temp disk space. I have used my disk clean-up to make some space but it still says there is not enough. I only have 2.9GB. Any suggestions as to what else I can do?? I tried to delete the old compress files but for some reason it will not delete.

Thanks for you help...

Re: Not enough space

How much HD space do you have? That would be a first you should tell us. Having only 2.9G doesn't tell us much. Plus you should know that a DVD+DL is 8.4G so you would need at least that much plus extra. But in the end give us more info so we can give a remedy.

Re: Not enough space

C-drive partition...D-drive partition...? What´s your set-up?

I keep a Temp Vid folder in my C-drive...but anywhere you have space will do.
Just check it and delete anything in there after jobs.

Compress files???...from what?

Re: Not enough space

cheldeneen,
Some OS's or the settings therein require you to decompress a file before you can delete it. But you are in trouble there too since you probably don't have enough room to decompress those files. So you have to offload them to a cd or dvd or usb flash drive

Or (best solution) buy another HDD to store your data on.

2.9GB of space remaining is not enough to do movie backups. The minimum system requirements for CloneDVD stated that on Slysofts website. You asked this same question last July.

Best regards,
