CloneDVD Discuss, Lite-on and CloneDVD2 at Copy Movie forum; Ever since I flashed my Lite-on 1633 to 1635 CSOT, CloneDVD2 will not work anymore. It will read but won't burn, goes through the burn process but nothing on the disc. I have tried both 4X and 8X and nothing on both speed settings. I have tried Fuji

Lite-on and CloneDVD2

Ever since I flashed my Lite-on 1633 to 1635 CSOT, CloneDVD2 will not work anymore. It will read but won't burn, goes through the burn process but nothing on the disc. I have tried both 4X and 8X and nothing on both speed settings. I have tried Fuji 8X, Sony 16X, Fuji 16X, and Staples 16X, same thing for every disc. Any ideas???? Should I uninstall and reinstall? At a total loss here.
TIA

Re: Lite-on and CloneDVD2

Are you sure it's just CloneDVD that won't burn? Flashing firmware can be a tricky business. It's possible the firmware flash didn't go so well. Verify that the drive works in other situations. If possible, you may want to flash it back. If the drive is not working with ANY burning app, then I suggest visiting the LiteOn forum here on CDF. If it's just CloneDVD, you can try reinstalling it and see if that helps. Basically you've got some investigating to do before we can really truly help.

So just CloneDVD, eh? Fascinating. Yea, I would reinstall CloneDVD then if the drive is working with other apps with no problem. Make sure you have your registration saved somewhere before reinstalling just to be on the safe side.

Is your drive in an external enclosure, by any chance?
