Re: HI THERE (need help)

You're welcome.

What discs are you using? What firmware is installed on your burner? At what speed are you trying to burn? Are you using latest version of clonedvd2?

Re: HI THERE (need help)

I think that your problem is due to low quality discs. Try again with a verbatim and see if this solve.

Re: HI THERE (need help)

To see properties of a blank disc, you should use something like cd-dvd speed or dvd identifier.

If you use windows explorer, you'll get no info on the disc.

Re: HI THERE (need help)

To get info on the disc you don't need to do right click on the drive. Simply insert a blank disc on the drive and then run dvd identifier. In main window of DVD identifier you can see disc information.

Re: HI THERE (need help)

Ok I will try that. With dvd identifier can you format dvd to make sure they are ready. Also what if it does not read it? What then.

Re: HI THERE (need help)

???

Sorry I don't understand. What do you mean with "format" the DVD? DVD identifier is a software designed only to retrieve information on blank media.

Can you explain better?

Re: HI THERE (need help)

CD-DVD Speed might be a better option

And I suspect Geno is right...so if you try some better media, your problems may just disappear

Re: HI THERE (need help) ... with CloneDVD2

OLIE1977 -

First it might be helpful if you did not Double Post. You have two active postings in the CloneDVD Forum and one active posting in the Philips DVD Recorder and Player Forum. These duplicate posting only make it confusing to Forum Members attempting to assist you.

Exactly what is your problem? Explain in a logical informed manner that Forum Members will be able to fully understand. Provide information on what Software Program(s) and Version Number(s) you are using. Also provide any Error Code(s) and the exact complete Error Notification(s) narrative that you are receiving.
