Help with error message on CloneDVD2

Normally i burn dvd's using dvd+rw disk but i thought i would use dvd+r dl disks and i have never had a problem with errors before but now when the dvd finishes copying the DVD files and then starts to write i get an error.

1. Media Write Error ( this is writen in the popup ).
2. WriteDVD 10 11 W2 ( this is writen in the details section of the popup ).

I use the most recent CloneDVD2, the DVD's i used are Memorex DVD+R DL and my drive is _Nec ND-2510A.

I always use memorex dvd's and cd's when i burn things so dunno why its not working , can anyone help me??

A quick Forum Search will reveal that knowledgeable informed individuals recommend avoiding the use of Memerex DL Media.

At this date/time the only DL Media that consistently provides quality error free results is Verbatim+R DL MKM0001 or MKM003 Mitsubishi Kagaku Media.

Suggest reviewing the below Web Link and for consistent quality error free results only use blank Media that is listed on the referenced 1st Class Media list ->

Think he's trying to confirm that it wasn't his Dvd Burner that caused the problem with bad burn.

The “WriteDVD 10 11 W2” error code and “Media Write Error” error notification narrative is generated by the CloneDVD Software Program, which is informing the user, that there was an Error when the CloneDVD Software Program was attempting to Write data to the blank DVD Media.

This Error is Usually caused by the use of poor quality blank DVD Media. In seeing that previous history has shown that Memorex DL media is poor quality media and should be avoided it is assumed on my part that the “WriteDVD 10 11 W2” error code and “Media Write Error” error notification narrative was caused by the use of Memorex DL Media.

Suggest reviewing the below Web Link concerning DVD Burner Firmware ->
http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,11...1/article.html

If it is determined that your DVD Burner doesn’t have the newest latest current up to date Firmware installed you should update the Firmware.

As stated before at this date/time the only DL Media that consistently provides quality error free results is Verbatim+R DL MKM0001 or MKM003 Mitsubishi Kagaku Media.

Really wow And I bought 30 memorex dl media I guess I have to give those a burn run...but I used Fuji dl media and they haven't caused me grief or failed burn. My drive is a liteon 832S model not the latest but latest firmware VSOM.
