Helllp...Please

I have used CLoneDVD/AnyDVD with great success until now.

I recently got a new PC and I made some coasters because of periodic pixelization and freezing. Keep in mind this is the same burner, just on a faster PC.....

Here is the list of upgrades

AMD Athlon 2100 to Amd Athlon 2500
ASUS A7n8x Deluxe to ASUS A7n8X (non-deluxe)
Onboard sound to Audigy
ATI Radeon 9500 Pro to ATI Radeon 9600XT
60 GB WD HD to 120 GB Samsung HD (both 7200)
512 MB Generic pc2700 RAM to 1GB Mushkin PC3500 RAM
Lite-On 401s (no change)
DVD media TDK (no change)

Clearly a faster PC...what are some ideas to get this straightened out? Lowering Burn speeds?

I am having the same sort of problems with my nforce ultra-400 chipset board...... read here:

http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread....853#post500853

Wish we could solve this so I could keep burning w/ CloneDVD.

Until there's a fix, try ripping with Clone/AnyDVD and burn with CopyToDVD, this gives the results you are used to from CloneDVD.

Yeah, it's probably a driver that needs updated or rolled back. I just can't pin it down and I don't want to start messing with things since everything is running so well.

I am pretty sure I don't have the 3.13's on my old board, FYI.

Try an older version of CloneDVD. In my other thread, junglemaster came up w/ the idea and it worked. We are getting perfect copies using 1.2.8.4

I uninstalled 1.3.11.2 and deleted the old folder. Re-installed 1.2.8.4 and that did it. I haven't tried 1.3.9.8 or 1.3.10 but at least the problem is solved for us (so far).

That's a great Idea....

The version I had that worked before was 1.2 8.4...I will get it plus the older version of ANYDVD I was using....

If that doesn't work I must try to use drivers other than the 3.13...

I moved my burner to my old machine, but I had reinstalled the operating system and used 3.13...guess what....I now does not work properly...
