Discs From New Laptop Won't Play in Player I have been using AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 for a long time with great success. I just purchased a new laptop with a DVD +-R DL drive and tried to copy a couple of DVDs. They appeared to burn correctly, but when I put them in my TV/DVD combo they were not readable... they work on my laptop, my *new* DVD player (different tv location), and my desktop (previously used to backup DVDs), but not on my older laptop or my TV/DVD combo... I am using the same media I used previously and I tried slowing the burn speed down to 8x, but no luck... Ideas???

Re: Discs From New Laptop Won't Play in Player DarellCraighead - As requested provide the Exact Version Number of AnyDVD and CloneDVD software programs you are using. I am sorry to inform you that stating using the “Current Version” does not provide this critical pertinent information. When using the AnyDVD and CloneDVD software programs do you receive any Error Codes and/or Error Notifications? If so provide this information. What is the Name(s) of the Commercial DVD Movie(s) that you arte having difficulty processing? Provide a copy of the AnyDVD Summary of the Commercial DVD Movie you are having difficulty processing. Also have you curtailed ALL background Multi Tasking activities when using AnyDVD and CloneDVD to process your backup copying? BeLooken

Re: Discs From New Laptop Won't Play in Player DarellCraighead, AHAH! Matsushita drive! ... slowly I turn ... step by step ...! These drives are notorious for region encoding problems. Turn off AnyDVD and set the Matsushita drive Properties to "United States" (assume from your writing style you are American) which will fix it to region1. Suspect this is your problem. Repeat: this will not work unless AnyDVD is turned off and not visible in your system tray. Then reboot and try your backup again. Best Regards, Whisperer
