Director Audio Automatically Turning On???

ok my problem is this. I used to Use DVD Decrypter to decrypt and backup my dvds. then i would use Clone DVD 2 to burn them to a dvd disc. Then all of a sudden for some reason the director's comments automatically came on. even if i didnt select them in Clone DVD 2 or in the main menu of the movie they would still turn on for no reason. some movies work fine but alot of them im finding im running into this problem. i started using DVDFab Decrypter instead of DVD Decrypter but im running into the same problem. How do i decrypt and burn a dvd without running into the directors comments because i cant watch the movie without listening to it and its annoying that i cant turn it off????

@ Door Pidgeon,

Welcome to the Forum.

Suggest viewing the below CD Freaks Forum posting concerning how to determine and select the audio streams contained on a Commercial DVD Movie Title. Note the comments in posting #6.

Re: Director Audio Automatically Turning On???

Yes, I had this same problem ealy on. It is an easy fix; you probably just did like many of us early on an you de-selected several of the audio streams (various dolby's, and others) to save room on compression. When you do this, you can actually remove the audio stream you need and then it makes the Director's Comments the only playing stream. This is why when you go in and try and turn off the comments, they continue to play.

Go back and again back-up those movies, and when you get to the Audio Streams page, select all of them if you are not sure. (Of course, you don't need the other languages, just all the various streams.)

It will work correctly then.........
