Creating permanent ISO file

I am a registered user of AnyDVD and Clone DVD2. My current AnyDVD version is 6.0.5.0. and my CloneDVD2 version is 2.9.0.1.

The program works fine in making my backups but I have been unable so far to figure out how to have the process leave the ISO file on my hard drive after burning the backup DVD. Here is the process that I follow:

Under “Title Config” I select the DVD drive and the VIDEO_TS file with “Preserve Menus” checked.
F:/VIDEO_TS

Under “Audio and Subtitle Settings” I use the default checks

Under “Output Method”/DVD Files I enter the path to the hard drive directory created where I want to store the files with a checkmark in “Add VIDEO_TS Files.”.
G:/Movies/BRUCE_ALMIGHTYDVD Files

Under “Output Method/ISO/UDF Image” I enter the path and the ISO file name to be created:
G:/Movies/BRUCE_ALMIGHTY/BRUCE_ALMIGHTY.iso
Volume label:
BRUCE_ALMIGHTY
Temporary directory for video files:
G:/Movies/BRUCE_ALMIGHTY
The “Delete temporary video files after writing” is unchecked.

I then hit “Go” and the process works fine except there is no ISO file to be found. All of the files do remain in the VIDEO_TS directory and I then have to use another program to creat the ISO file.

Would appreciate any help

It would have been nice if you had told me what forum you moved it to!

Re: Creating permanent ISO file

If I read this right, you are burning to a disc, but you thought you were creating an iso also. You can only do one or the other. Either burn the iso to hard disk or shrink and burn the files to a disc.

Re: Creating permanent ISO file

Hi

When you are Cloning the DVD and you wish to have both a ISO and a physical copy then in the Output Method Frame, in CloneDVD, select ISO/UDF image. Then choose 'GO!'

Once the ISO has been created use the 'Write Existing Data' button. This is exactly what this feature is for burning your pre mastered ISO/UDF image !
