| copying an avi video file to dvd hi, I downloaded a film from limewire, the film played in window movie player and realplayer. I tried to burn to a dvd but it would not play in my dvd player, the format is a avi video file. I have noticed that there is a .scn file with the same title, my question is, how can I burn this so I can watch it on my dvd player. Please be specific on how to do this |

| Re: copying an avi video file to dvd To put a AVI onto DVD as a movie, one must convert the AVI to DVD. I have had good luck with VSO ConvertX to DVD. |

| Re: copying an avi video file to dvd Try Xilisoft AVI to DVD Converter. It can convert AVI to DVD, MPEG to DVD, DivX to DVD and burn MPEG, DivX, AVI to DVD disc (playable on home DVD player). |
