every time i try to copy a disc my computer restarts does any one know why >>>>>>>>>> can you help

OS?
programs?
versions?
happen with multiple different programs or only the same program causes the restart?
restarts while ripping or while burning? both?
what drive (brand/model)?
what are your system specs?
what's the wattage rating of your power supply?
can you monitor system temps?

wonder if shaynedb has got it figured out yet, oh well, just a thought, maybe go into system propertys and uncheck system restart on erros, at least their will be a pretty blue screen to read.
