CloneDVD2 will not split movies I am using version 2.8.9.2 of CloneDVD2. I have sucessfully split several movies and then all of a sudden, the software quits splitting. It will not even split the same movies that it has already split. (Allman Brother-Live At The Beacon, Pearl Harbor, etc.). I am also using Anydvd with CloneDVD2. I can still get it to copy entire movies but not split them. Also, I can not get it to copy movies to my harddrive. When this software was working right, it sure is smooth. It is sure is frustrating now. Should I uninstall the software and reinstall it. (I have had an update from my original set up software). Here is the error message I get when splitting: Creation of DVD files was not successful: missing title VOV file(s) named VTS_02_*.VOB Please be sure that all IFO and VOB files of the source DVD are available for loading. Details VobSet 7 2 0 0 4 0 0 TCE Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks, wetwillie

Re: CloneDVD2 will not split movies Seto1, Well at least someone had the courage to jump in and start posting on this question ... wetwillie, Are you making a backup of the original or are you copying the backup? Do you have CloneDVD's "output to disk type" (it's the drop-down menu at the bottom next to the quality bar on CloneDVD's first page) set to DVD5. It has to be set to DVD5 in order to make splits with the scissors feature. Also, read the CloneDVD user manual about splitting multi angle movies. Click on help to access the manual. Is the multi angle movie Pearl Harbor? Whisperer

Re: CloneDVD2 will not split movies Also, the error message you posted has nothing to do with splitting (I don't think). Do you have both a ripper and a burner installed? ... then try, with the other drive, to get CloneDVD to process the original and see if you get the same "missing .VOB" error message. What version of AnyDVD are you using? Try ripping this movie to your HDD using AnyDVD's ripping feature. Right click on the AnyDVD icon in your system tray and choose the Rip feature. Make a folder on your HDD entitled with the movie's name. If you get a rip without an error, then simply point (browse button) CloneDVD away from your ripper and point it to the folder you just created on your hard drive and process the movie from there.

Re: CloneDVD2 will not split movies No sir, I was using the original movies. I am not at my house right now so I do not know if Pearl Harbor has multi angles. I have Anydvd and clonedvd2 installed. I believe the version of anydvd installed is 5.9.4.1. I purchased it on Feb 25th and I have not received any updates that I am aware of. I can double check later and find out. I am using a Plextor 716A burner. I really appreciate your help. Oh yeah, I was trying to burn the movie to the dvd burner so I had the output set to my dvd burner. DVD5 was chosen so that I could split. Thanks
