clonedvd2 not 100% successful... - Club CDFreaks

hi there,

i'm using CloneDVD2 v2.0.5.3 for backing-up my dvd's but I never get 100% success when playing on my NEW Sony dvd player (DVP-NS575S). some of my burn dvd plays and some of them are ok. i burned them at 2.4x speed.

i mostly encountered problems when i copy the "movie plus menus" only. i think the player is having difficulty reading the missing part/segment of the dvd. is this true? when i copy the full movie, i haven't encountered any problem so far. the only thing i don't want to copy the full movie sometime is if the compression is too high say about 50%.

can you help me resolve this issue? do you think if i increase the write speed will solve the problem?

Plz be so kind and tell us some system specs, especially the brand of your dvd writer.

(i'm looking to upgrade my system. any suggestions?)

would it be best to upgrade the firmware or use the OmniPatcher? i don't want to screw my current settings right now if it will not fix the problem.
