Welcome to the forum

Usually this problem is due to a low quality disc. What discs are you using?

I suggest to buy better media. The best available are Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim (except for the verbatim "Pearl White" series).

Moreover, at what speed are you burning? If you burn a 16x certified disc @2x, there is a high probability to make a coaster.

I'm ordering Tayo right now. Where do I check the speed?

You don't check it, you order it, you would probably be best off with 8X Taiyo Yuden + discs. Rima.com would be a good place to start looking

OK, I thought you meant adjusting the burner speed in AnyDVD. It has a setting for Medium and Enable Speed Control.

wesley34 -

AnyDVD does not control the burning speed of blank DVD Media. You control the burning speed in whatever software program you are using to burn data to your blank DVD media.

The “Speed Control” setting in the AnyDVD software program controls the “Reading” speed of the DVD Device used to read the Original Commercial DVD Movie Title.

What burner do you have? What firmware?

At what speed are you burning?
