I'd like to see the following functions added to a future version of CloneDVD...

- Nero Recode Function - Start/End (Trimming by time - not just by chapter)

- Verify After Write or automatic load into ImgTools to burn with ImgBurn

- Preference to base Volume Label on File Name since sometimes ripped DVD's have volume labels like DVD_VIDEO

- Name of ISO should Automatically be inserted into "Enter name of ISO/UDF image file to be created" based on the Volume Label.

- Preference to select Default "DVD Video Files" location.

Anyone else have something they really want?

Being very new to this I add this half a pennies worth...

The ability to compare the just burned DVD with the original scanned material before the original is deleted. I have burned "okayed" DVDs with various CloneDVD on Verbatium material and had a few bad copies that I didn't know were bad. I find out later when I'm on the road and the laptop locks up. Redo the project on another DVD from the same stack and the problem is fixed. If the double check finds a problem it lets you know to redo the project. If it still passes than you have a good idea that perhaps the original was bad.

Yeah, I've had the same thing happen, so that's why I use ImgTools Classic/ImgBurn to burn and verify. I never have a burn that verifies and turns out to be bad unless I used DVDRemake or something else to customize it. I'm still using Nero Recode, because on most movies I just cut off some of the beginning credits and sometimes I cut the ending credits if the DVD needs to be compressed.

I would love to be able untick the audio used in menus, like shrink...

The ability to join 2 diff dvd onto 1 dvd ie kids cartoons dvds which are small in size and could easy fit 2 or even 3 onto 1 dvd.

The abilility to force subtitles in movie only mode would be nice

before we re-hash everything that has already been said before, you might also want to try a forum search for the 2 or 3 other threads regarding "suggestions" and "wish lists" for clonedvd2.

maybe it's possible that these threads can be merged by a mod?
