and improvements:

- New: added Zoom-option to enlarge anamorphic video content to
fit the size of the device's screen, also removing
letterbox images
- New: cinemascope-zoom to enlarge 1:235 content to 16:9 widescreen
- New: quality slider range now automatically re-adjusts to allow for
optimal video quality, depending on the devices kbps-limitation
- New: Quality slider now additionally displays the apx. resulting
video-bitrate
- New: added title and chapter index to volume labels (better
distinguishable files on devices, that don't display the
filename)
- New: error messages caused by the encoder now contain more useful info
- quality of deinterlace filter greatly improved
- fix: with subtitles on some DVD conversions would result in
incomplete files (e.g. 45 min from a 2 hour input).
- fix: subtitles sometimes appeared inverted and nearly unreadable
(depending on DVD source)
- fix: VOB Passthrough-mode wouldn't create separate files with
multi-title selections/separate chapters
- several small fixes and improvements


The update is free for all registered customers, of course.
Just install the new version on top of your current version,

When I rip Shallow Grave the time with CloneDVDMobile = 1:28:35 and Audio/Video is out of synchronisation. using Lenogo DVD to iPod the same movie = 1:28:17 and is perfectly in sync.

How do you set the zoom? I can't see where to set this. I see a zoom box at the last window but I can't change any setting.

Update for some reason the option only shows for some DVD's. It doesn't let me use the option on all my DVD's. Even the ones that have the black it doesn't let me have the option some times.

Yes, presently the zoom option is displayed only, if CloneDVD mobile can detect that the aspect ratios of movie and player differ.
In your example here, the video is actually 4:3 (with "filled up" letterbock-blackness) and the output format is 4:3 as well.

If you have a 16:9 video source and a 4:3 player-screen, the zoom-option will show and vice versa. The cinemascope zoom will show for all 16:9 video sources.

We are planning to add a "free zooming" feature hopefully in the next version.

Are you saying, this is happening with version 1.1.3.0 and not with the previous version 1.1.2.1?

@ Peervh, I have a weird occurence....after upgrading to 1.1.3.0, when ever I reboot, when my machine comes back on line, all of my display properties revert back to those you would see in a safe boot screen. (large font, low resolution, as if being zoomed, but with an actual reduction in screen resolution, and color quality) Resetting the display resolution, and resetting the color to 32 bit, returns things to normal, but, the problem returns upon the next shut down, and reboot.
Doing a system restore and returning to 1.1.2.1 returns everything to normal.
I have a nVIDIA based video card with NV tray w/ NV Tweak installed, (with Microsoft .NETframework.) Os is Windows XP Home x32 Any suggestions?

Free zooming sounds good Also an option for sound would be nice from the GUI. I've found you can just edit the config file in clone to change this anyway but having the option from the GUI would be good. As in ac3, acc, mp3, etc with bitrate options.

Also is it possible to add dual core support or is this somthing you have no control over seeing as your using memcoder.

One last question, do all the slysoft apps run on vista x64?

I've installed 1.1.3.0, and while it works very well encoding to PSP, encoding the same source to Divx barfs horribly with the error below. This did not happen with the previous version, and occurs no matter what screen-res or audio source I choose - anyone got any hints?

Do you have some moe information for me, how I can reproduce this?
I just tried with several different discs, 4:3 source and 16:9 source, different resolutions and zoom options. All work fine.
So if you can find out, if some specific setting triggers this, I'd be happy (and this in turn will make you happy, because then I'll be happy to fix this )

Anyway, I've tried the beta, and while lower resolutions appear to work now, "720*576 (PAL TV)" gets the error:

I suspect that the values associated with the drop-lown-list entry for that resolution might be a bit boned, given "picture size invalid (16786960x576)".

I also suspect that my previous report of "no matter what screen-res" might have been misleading - it seems that the error is only for "720*576" - sorry about that...

The problem with subtitles transparency still occuring in this version. I did a backup of ALIAS Season 1 - Disk 1 and the first two episodes are OK but the thrid episode (title 6 in the DVD) have the same problem of subtitle transparency.

OK same time difference after ripping but the sync is better, it still seems to drift out and back in sync throughout the movie at times. but it is the best I have seen it so far.

One More question on TV Material is Deinterlacing absolutely necessary? I notice it increases filesize, but often , If I don't De-interlace, the output is Jerky.

I already ask Slysoft support but no response.

Not a huge issue for me, the File size you save usually isn't a good trade off for the encode time increase
