Can I change the booktype with DVD Decrypter, then use it in CloneDVD? or does the change on work when you write a file with DVD Decrypter?

its the .vob/.ifo files of the DVD the Boondocks. My computer is a dell inspiron 1520 laptop, I searched google and didn't find any updates, also i went into the device manager to see if any drivers were available for update and it said there weren't. theres no error in vista, but cloneDVD simply doesn't recognize my Memorex DVD+R DL, I'm going to try using Verbatim's DVD+R DL, CloneDVD works fine with Memorex DVD-R, but not DL's.

Get rid of the memorex junk and only use Verbatim +R DL. Download ImgBurn and check out this guide.

ImgBurn is DVD Decypter without all the decrypting components. Freeware too!

It's not CloneDVD but the media you are using which are causing the problems.

Make sure you burn at a slow speed like 2.4x or 4x.
