Re: CloneDVD 2.5.3.3

Olli,

I see CloneDVD v2.5.3.3 available at www.elby.ch, but I don't see it currently on www.slysoft.com. Will Slysoft be adding it later today? Also, if I download it from www.elby.ch will it work for me - I purchased my license from Slysoft? Thank you very much for your help with these questions.

SlySoft buys CloneDVD licenses from Elaborate Bytes AG, so you can buy from them, no problem.

Does this new version correct the blurring problem mentionned here ? http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=112646...
It seems there is even some error with this particular TROY movie ... http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=111234

We hope, that the "blurring" problem http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=112646 is solved now. Hope, because we don't have this version of Troy here for testing.
This problem here http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=111234 is different and not solved.

I can send you my original (Region 2) if you want. (The one that "produces" blurring).

Thank you for your very kind offer. I'll ask Gor, if he needs it (he is the one, who fixes blurring )

Just backed up TROY (2 disc widescreen edition) movie only with latest clonedvd and no problems..
btw for future upgrade showing actual write speed would be a welcome addition ..

Re: CloneDVD 2.5.3.3

thanks Ollie,

One feature that I like in DVDshrink that I did not see in cloneDVD. Is there a way to force Audio Streams and Subtitles on a reauthored title ?? (ie just the main title). It would be nice to have for movies that use default subtitles or if you want to default the movie to another language but still keep the other languages on the title.

Re: CloneDVD 2.5.3.3

Well this isn't too Kool.............. Been running 2.4.3.1, then 2.4.5.4 without issue. Upgraded tonight to 2.5.3.3 and haven't been able to complete one backup.

Have tried three different DVD's and tried to backup them up using both the 1633 and 3500 as the reader and have gotten the same error message at exactly the same point 55%..............

I can rip them to the hardrive using DVDShrink and then burn with Clone choosing "Write Existing Data", but were's the fun in that.......

Here's the message............

You should be able to uninstall and do a registry sweep for it, delete all occurrences, and then reinstall.

This is the message in the detail window:

NavigationPack 0 VOBU 4 1026046 196 Clone 6 TCE

Update:

Opps............ may not be a problem after all. Just removed and reinstalled and it seems to be fine. Will do more testing tonight. If this is the case, sorry for the false alarm.
