I have a few questions about CloneDVD Mobile.

> What version of XviD does it use?

> What version of DivX does it use?

> If I already have a paid version of the latest DivX codec will it use that?

the first few frames of the movies seem to have the divx logo on them, so i assume it isn't using [or finding my local install of] divx pro or xvid.

it doesn't seem to work on my athlonxp machine (crashes consistently with 33mins remaining) so i expect that mencoder is the pentium-optimised version as it only works on my p4 and p2 machines.

same situation as me regarding discounts.....

When I tell it to use XviD how would I know what version it used? I don't think the Meta Data tells you does it?

CloneDVD Mobile uses mencoder as its way of creating xvid files. You can find this information if you check the version history at the slysoft site or if you install it and have a peek at the ini files in the application directory.
