Hello to everyone out there!!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can anyone help or advice me on my following dilema! I bet its probably a simple one for all you computer boffins out there so i'll be well embarrassed. Anyway, I'm currently using the latest version of clone dvd 2 and anydvd (CloneDVD 2 v2.8.5.1 &
AnyDVD v5.8.3.1 )

Been brill for backing up my movies n that and now all of a sudden clone dvd seems to be taking a hell of a lot longer to complete ansd when copying the film red eye and stealth it created the video files to 100% eventually and when it does begin to write to dvd it completely crashes and my pc aswell! But this was mint last week i havent a clue on some of your computer jargin after reading some of the threads on the subject. Before it writes to dvd, an error usually appears first - writedvd 11 4 or 11 5, so then i put another blank dvd in, it erases and then writes?

I cannot understand hats gone wrong? All was fine last week, any help and advice would be very appreciated n that. or can any advice me on the best way to copy my dvds, n what i need as i am very new to all this.

first of all you don't have the latest version of anydvd. the latest (as of ths second) is 5.8.4.1 but it's soon to be 5.9.0.0 (the beta is aleady out for this)

this isn't your problem though...that's just more of a FYI.

have you switched blank media recently?
what's the media ID on the discs you're currently using? (Media codes can be found in teh Disc info tab of nero cd-dvd speed)
what's the brand, model, and firmware on your burner?
do you have DMA enabled?
