| clone dvd hang-up Hi,out there! Does anyone know anything about clone dvd hang-ups? The pc writes everything perfectly but cannot create the vob files when transforming a movie to the hard drive(it creates the vob files at an irritatingly slow pace).Is it a virus of some kind or does anyone know anything about it? I'm using version 2.8.5.1. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers. |

| Re: clone dvd hang-up socratesd68, 1. Go to Device Manager and make sure all drives are set to "DMA If Available". Then reboot. Go back to Device Manager and make sure all drives are now displaying that they are operating in DMA mode. 2. Make sure you have at least 10GB of free space available on your HDD. More is better. 3. Do a HDD defrag. 4. How much RAM is in your computer? 5. If you do really suspect you have a virus or spyware, then by all means do full system scans with both your antivirus software and your antispyware softwares. Make sure you have updated to the latest definitions on both before the scans. Best regards, Whisperer |

| Re: clone dvd hang-up @ socratesd68, Perchance have you ensured that when making backup copies of Commercial DVD Movie Titles that you ensure that you have all background activities curtailed included any Anti-Virus, Peer To Peer, and/or packet writing software programs? Best Regards, bjkg |
