| problem with burning speed Hi, i want to burn with a specific (limited) speed, because i determine that otherweise the cpu usage is to high. My Question is what happen when i use a speed that the drive (or the medium) not support? Use Nero the next suitable speed (up or down)? It is safe (even a other speed would be used) or should i avoid this? example 1: CD-RW drive with following speeds: 8x, 16x, 24x, 32x, 40x 48x (result of NeroGetAvailableSpeeds()) CD-R medium with 52x maximum speed NeroBurn() with dwSpeed=20 called example 2: the same situation with a CD-RW medium with 4x maximum speed The question is can I use a specific speed (independently of a certain drive, which maybe support this speed or not) or must I use NeroGetAvailableSpeeds() and find a proper speed around my prefered speed by myself? I use NeroSDK 1.02 with Nero 5.5.10.42. Thanks for any help. Michael |
