Hi, i use nero in my application made in vb.net 2003 without problems.
Now i'm adding nerovision support to do DVD video.
I've just run the nerofiddlescom.net example, but at the estimate button, after the end of the first estimated video, i've this error:

This error is showed only if i run it from windows, inside the IDE (debug or release) it simply exit the app.
Any idea? I've tryed 3 PC with:
NVE-3.1.0.25,Nero-6.6.1.4 visual studio 2003, Windows XP pro SP2 all fixes

Can someone try to see if works? I've also tryed and old nero version (6.6.0.16) and give me internal engine error, but no crash. I need only to know if nerofiddle.net example works with the last 6.6 version.

u can use the attach as xml file to use the NVAPI button inside merofiddle.net (change the path of the avi):

Quick update...same problem(no crash, but internal engine error) with nero 7.0.8.2

I have a similar problem. I'm using Nero 7.2.0.3 Ultra, and I'm getting the same
"InternalError" with the NeroFiddlesCOM.NET example.

When I click estimate, a messagebox comes up with this error:
"Error: DVDEngine Error, code: InternalError"

There are no XML parse errors, so I'm assuming the XML is ok.
Besides, I triple-checked it against the standards in the API doc.

I also tried using the same file as willyx did above: test.txt
I simply modified the video file to be an AVI file on my hard drive.

I've tell that i've tryed and all com users have this problem, and she reply that an email was send to developers.

I've been using the NeroVision API in C++ and have experienced several problems in various versions of Nero (6.6.x & 7.2.x)

- Video encoding doesn't seem to work (although I haven't tried this excessively as I'm developing a simple image slideshow app and just looked quickly at possibility of including videos as well).

- Image slideshow encoding to SVCD/DVD doesn't seem to work in 7.2.x (VCDs seem to be fine).

- MP3 encoding doesn't work for SVCD/DVD (VCDs seem to be fine).


It might be worth trying the video as VCD as that seems to be a lot more reliable than SVCD/DVD.
