NeroCMD: burning multiple directories/files

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a solution to burn more than one directory or file with NeroCMD?

Parameter file:

--write
--real --tao
--tao
--close_session
--iso myvolume C:\Treiber*.*, C:\OOo_1.1.2_Win32Intel_install_de.zip
--disable_eject
--drivename g
--error_log myerrorlog.txt
--recursive
--dvd

Is it possible to do it with NeroCMD? If not is there another solution or example with .NET Framework?

Best regards

There is an extra comma between the two file specifications. Try removing it and is if that helps.

So, what is it exactly that you are trying to accomplish? Burn more than one directory in which way?

If NeroCMD does not meet your requirements as it is, you can always modify its source code provided in the NeroSDK.

I would like to burn directories or files from different sources.

Example:

C:\dir1\dir2\*.*
C:\dir3\*.*

On the CD / DVD:
\dir1\dir2\*.*
\dir3\*.*

Is that possible without copying all the files in one directory with NeroCMD?

No, NeroCMD cannot do that without some modifications. Alternatively, you can create a desired directory structure in a temporary folder and use that as a parameter.

Re: NeroCMD: burning multiple directories/files

How can i write a bat file that will burn a directory and all its contents(including subdirectories) onto a DVDRW/or CDRW, without any prompts?

can someone paste a method to acheive this please?

i thought nerocmd would only burn iso's or vcds , img's etc.
how do i burn directories?

im using nero5.5, but i can get latest version if absolutely necessery.

thanks for your help.

Re: NeroCMD: burning multiple directories/files

ok i figured out how to get it do burn a directory, however its just burning the files within the directory, and not all the subdirectories i used C:\test\*.*

what should i be using for it to also burn all the subdirectories in c:\test ?

thanks.

You can use something like the following:

--write
--real
--drivename g
--no_user_interaction
--recursive
--iso vol_name c:\folder

Re: NeroCMD: burning multiple directories/files

yup i figured that out.

basically --recursive is the only command that did not make sense to me, so i added it to my bat file and voila, all subdirectories were added.

(--subdir would have made much more sense)

oh well thanks anyways for your help.
