Hello!!! Have 2 quastions:
1. How can I know free space on the disk, use NeroCMD. Try so:
NeroCMD –estimate –drivename d
But always have: Error doing track size estimation!
2. Use so parametr file (example from NeroCMDUser)
; Parameter File for demonstration purposes
; Comments are started with a semicolon
--write ; select write command
--real -–tao ; no simulation, track at once
--close_session ; close session rather than entire disc
--import 0 ; import session 0 (0 is the first session)
--iso test .\TestFiles\*.exe ; volume name is “test”. Files in “TestFiles”
--disable_eject --drivename e ; do not eject disc after burning
--error_log MyErrorLog.txt ; Give the error log a different name
After burning I see previous session, don’t last. After procedure eject-load, I see last session. Is it correctly? If it’s so how can I activate session in which I right straight off burning?
Excuse me for English, hope you understand.
Help please!!!

This is wrong! estimate command is used for totally differnet purpose. You should use nerocmd --discinfo --drivename d.

Perhaps you should try removing --disable_eject and then either manually load the disc or create a batch file with two commands. One should burn the disc and the other should load the disc with nerocmd --load --drivename d.

Re: nerocmd

I dont find discinfo, if cdinfo
When I use
NeroCmd --cdinfo --drivename d
I have information about free disc space in blocks.
Somthing about this
CD-RW, writeable, 359849 blocks free
Artist unknown, Title unknown
erase modes: entire quick
Ok.

Can I use this information to know free disc space in MB? (fs iso)

Yes.

A standard data block is 2048 bytes. You should divide the block count with 512 to get the size in megabytes.

Yes, this is where you need the estimate command. Type nerocmd with no arguments to get the usage instructions.

Normally, you would want to use it before burning so that you know the estimated size of the track and whether it will fit on the disc or not.

Re: nerocmd

try: (parametr file)
--estimate ; select write command
--tao ; no simulation, track at once
--no_user_interaction ; Allow the whole process to take place with no user interaction (no questions asked).
--close_session ; close session rather than entire disc
;--import 9 import session 10 (0 is the first session)
--iso spring c:\cd\NeroCMDTest\test_br\* ; volume name is “test”. Files in “TestFiles” .\TestFiles\*.exe
--disable_eject --drivename d ; do not eject disc after burning
--error_log MyErrorLog1.txt ; Give the error log a different name
Have
Error doing track size estimation!
why?

I have used your parameter file modifying only the input file path and it worked fine!

What is your Nero version?
