Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems Hi, I have captured a video from my camcorder to my harddrive. I can play the video in W. Media Player and In Nero. The Video plays very well. I use movie maker in nero to make a DVD. I put the two parts of the video together and before I burn the video, I perview it and it play like it should. When the burn process begins and the movie is playing, it plays in slow motion. like it starts and then stops and starts again and stops. I let the DVD burn and I played it on my cp dvd and it plays like it showed when it was burning it, slow motion. I also played it in my Home dvd player and it plays like it is in slow motion also. If anyone can let me know what I am doing wrong please do so. Thanks Skyhorse

Re: Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems I have had things like that happen with bad media. But what you may want to try doing is using a different program to create the actual VIDEO_TS folders that you can burn later with Nero. I like Ulead DVD MovieFactory for that, but there are others. I use Ulead VideoStudio to create a DVD compliant MPEG-2 file then open it in Ulead DVD MovieFactory, add chapters, menu, etc. and then export to a VIDEO_TS folder on the hard drive, then Nero to burn a DVD project with the VIDEO_TS folder contents. I usually play the VIDEO_TS folder from the hard drive (WinDVD lets me point to files on the HD) and see if it plays smooth. If it does, but after I burn it to the DVD disk it does not, I usually find there is something not right with the media or drive at that particular time. I use Verbatim media and have had good luck with that. Sometimes burning at 4x or 8x instead of a higher speed seems to help some folks, depending on the drive and media combination. Good luck.

Re: Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems I use Pinnacle and it works quite well but is very slow and not very user friendly. It takes quite a bit of time but most of that is probably editing out the parts I don't want. The end results are far better than with Nero.

Re: Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems Hi, Thanks BeardedKirklander & wobble. I have Ulead Videostudio, but I cannot export or import the files. I get this crazy message saying a file is missing and therefore I cannot transfer the videos. I cannot find out what file is missing to correct the problem. I do not have Pinnacle, but I read alot of good reviews about it. all I have to capture is Nero and Instant DVD. Nero captures alot better the the Instant DVD. My problem maybe that I am capturing using analog camcorder and trying to make a DVD. I tried using 1 portion of the video to make a vcd and it still played the same way. Skyhorse

Re: Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems Hello Skyhorse 33 , I also experienced a few annoying malfunctions with NERO . I now use POWER DIRECTOR from CYBERLINK to capture movies from tv or camcorder . You then get a mpeg file you can convert to VIDEO_TS and use NERO recode to burn your DVD . Works perfectly . Will this help you ? Fanaudi .

Re: Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems I guess you could try different media. I like Verbatim a lot for DVD stuff, but you could try others too - TDK, etc. Good luck in getting it fixed. Sorry it is not workin' well for ya.

| Re: Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems I tried Ulead MF4 , Power VCR , Nero Vision ,AverEZmaker, Movie Maker and a few others but none was actually satisfactory . Power Director was a pleasant surprise. One of the problems with NERO was desynchronisation sound/image . Any idear of what it could have been ? | Re: Nero6.6.1.4 Burning Ploblems Well, I tried Ulead 6, My DVD, Power Vcr, Nero, Movie Make None of them worked. When I would burn, all I got was color lines going up and down. I tried Power Director and it worked very well. Even the Editing is 10 times better than Nero's. I could never trim with nero. Nero may be good, but the editing part is not for me. skyhorse |
