Multisession commandoptions

Multisession CD-RW

Hello,

Can anybody help me in the good direction with the use of simple commandline-options.

For security-reasons I need a daily backup of a part of my work at a non fixed time.

If make a monthly zip-backup of the complete directory and daily I make a differential backup of the same directory (zip-files). I want to keep at least the last ten (10) of those differential backups on the same CD. I can’t use the BackItUp-part from Nero because I need the zip-files.
Till now I used some third party CD-burner but I want to do it with Nero, which was installed on my new computer. All is automated with a few interactive vbscript-files, that use commandline-tools.

I got a problem with the multisession settings. I use the following command-options

"C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroCmd.exe” --write --drivename d --real --detect_non_empty_cdrw --close_session --iso mybutest c:\BACKUPDIR \yyyymmdd.zip

It writes the mentioned day-file to the CD but also erases the older files, which is not the intention.

I have read the NeroCMDUser.pdf several times but I don’t find the solution for my problem.

Maybe I have missed something or so,

Thanks

Re: Multisession commandoptions

Use also --import command line parameter, so that always the last session will be imported to current one. In such a way files already burnt on the disc will be 'visible'.
Btw. if you are not using this flag, previously burnt files are not erased but simply not imported to current session, although still present on the disc. And you can also import these 'invisible' files specifying the session number after --import, where these was burnt.
