Microsoft C++ Exceptions!!! - Club CDFreaks

Hi!
I just started to write some program for CD burning and
looked at samples in Nero SDK 1.05. I tested neroFiddles dialog-base application. I found that C++ exceptions appear while Nero API initialization and memory leaks appear too. Someone could help me with that problem, please?

You might also want to take a look at the source of NeroCMD which is a command line burning utility. Most of NeroAPI functionality is covered in it.

Thank you for your help, Alexp!
But I should say that there is the same problem in NeroCMD.
Every time when an application does call of NeroInit() API function
we get "Microsoft C++ Exception in NeroAPI.dll". Could you say me just one
thing? Do you have this error on your PC?

Are you thinking about "First-chance exception in NeroCmd.exe (KERNEL32.DLL): 0xE06D7363: Microsoft C++ Exception." ? If not, can please paste your debug output?

Yes, this is exactly the message that I get.

The message is telling you that an exception has been raised and caught somewhere in the code. It is nothing bad and nothing unusal. When an exception is not caught, you will know about it because your program will crash. A caught exception is fine.
