It's my first time to post here.I meet with a difficulty during my programming,hoping for the help of superiors.

The software I using is NERO BURNING ROM. I use nerocmd.exe to burn a CD successfully.But it's failed to burn a file,for instance,abc.mpg (mpeg1 file)in VCD format.

The command used is:

nerocmd -- write -- drivename h -- real -- tao -- videocd e:/abc.mpg

An error prompt dialog box appears as following:

“NeroCmd.exe – Error in application.
“0x00a10474” instruction refers to “0x0000000” memory, which cannot be “read”.

In the sequel,I use the command
nerocmd --write --drivename h --real --tao --videocd --iso-mode2 --close_session --error_log err3.txt --iso good "e:\\abc.mpg"

however the data written in CD_ROM is not in correct format.

Would you please to tell me where the error is and what the correct command parameters are?

What version of NeroCMD and NeroAPI do you use?

The software I use is Nero5 Burning Rom,version is 5.5.9.14,which written in Help dialog box.

I have tried for many times,but still cannot get the correct result.Can get your help is my biggest appreciation!

There seems to be a bug in the NeroCMD version included in Nero 5.5.9.14. I suggest that you either download a new Nero version from www.nero.com or download the NeroSDK from http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1002825712128
where a newer version of NeroCMD is also included.

All is OK just when I download a new Nero version which you told me and use the new nerocmd.exe!I'm too happy!

Perhaps the version of 5.5.9.9 I used before has some bug in burning VCD.thanks for you again.No your help,I cannot solve the problem so quickly!
