Is there a way to erase a recorded CD-R media with Nero SDK?

Note: I am not intersted in reusing the CD-R media but only in obliterating the existing data on it using the burning laser in a CD-R recorder.
Also, I am not interested in crude methods that leave visible damage on the CD-R media, such as microwaving, baking, burning, sanding, shattering, etc...

If the CD-R recorder can be commanded to record something over already recorded data, then this should do the trick.

Does anyone know Recorder's firmware or the Nero SDK prevent recording over already recorded areas of the CD-R disk ?

If Nero SDK cannot accomplish this feat then please let me know if it is even possible in theory to obliterate data on a CD-R media using the recorder's laser. If not - why not ?

Yes, me too need a way to erase(Overwriting with 0s or 1s) a part of a CD without erasing the others on it . Still i couldn't find any software that has the facility. But this facility is an important one, but none of the writing soft designers have included it to their soft. I don't know whether it is an impossible work to do.
