I'm having problems retreaving some home video movie. I use a Sony mini DVD camera. The problem is that it won't read a couple of DVDs I want to rip to my HD. Now I can't remember if I finished the DVD or not.

I'm concern because I want to try to retreave it using my computer. I'll need some soft as a help; I suspect the disc is somewhat damaged, but first I need to try to finished in case it isn't.

How could I retreave that unfinished video? Can it be done by force?

First we need to understand your question a bit better.

You have some home video you want to put on a dvd?
Your camera records on a dvd?

What´s your computer set-up? System, drive, software...anything you can tell us.

Have you done this before?...it worked?
Does it still work with other discs you have recorded on as well? It´s possible you may have to re-install the Sony software for example.

I mean there may be a simple solution, or a heavier one.

I´m sure someone here will know the way...hang in there.
