Trouble playing burned DVDs on Intervideo WinDvd

I decrypted dvd movies using DVD decrypter and burned them using DVD Fab and they were burned successfully, however when i try to play them using Intervideo WinDVD 5 it promotes for a password "Parental Settings Password... Please enter password to change settings"

Not sure why it does that because the dvd starts off playing fine but when the title screen shows up and I click on "play movie" the box pops up promoting for a password.
Ive checked the settings and there is no password set, also these are only PG dvds.

Ive tried burning different DVDs a number of times and all have the same problem. I havent tried playing them in a dvd player.

Please help! Any ideas on what the problem is?

Thanks

Re: Trouble playing burned DVDs on Intervideo WinDvd

not sure about version 5 (i use 6) but start the player and right click on the screen then click settings. on the preferences tab about half way down you should see something like "parental playback control" there are 2 buttons under that one to set a password and the other to set rating try clicking on "set rating and change the rating from there. if you or someone else set a password that might be a problem if no one knows it, in that case uninstall the program, delete it's folder and reinstall it.
