| No Frills DVD playing Looking for DVD Player software? Check the CD Freaks Software Section: http://www.cdfreaks.com/software/DVD-Player-Software/ END I would like to be able to play DVD movies on a PC where I am not the administrator (so I can not instlal new software) ... and there is no software on the PC which will allow me to play a DVD movie. Most of the most popular programs I can think of require an install. I am wondering if there is some kind of stand-alone program ... where I can load the DVD playing software from a CD or DVD? | Re: No Frills DVD playing Someone just asked about that yesterday, wasn't it? Anyway, get Media Player Classic. No need to install, just run the executable. Nor do you need to install an MPEG2 codec to play DVDs. Other formats, however WILL require installation of codecs if they aren't on the machine already. http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=...Player_Classic Good luck.  |
