| Need help on ripping DVD  Hi, I have just got a Sonic DVD burning software and tried to copy a movie DVD and faced innumerable problems. Can some expert pls give me some pointers on how to get it right the next time. 1. sometimes the software throws an error that the DVD is copy protected, while at times, it allows me to create a image of the DVD on the hard drive. why and how do i ensure i can copy? 2. after burning the image to the DVD, it does not play on either the laptop or the DVD player. It just shows the FBI notice and freezes there and does not go to the next chapter. why and how do i correct this? 3. Though I can browse and see the chapters on the copied DVD, media player does not play if i select any chapter. why? My first experience with burning was very disappointing, if someone can guide me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks and have a good day. |
