| Help! DVD Disappeared from my system! Windows sees it, but it says that it cannot configure the device for this reason: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)I had inadvertently IMPORTED an old copy of my registry when I was actually trying to EXPORT it to save the current copy. I do not have any idea what the differences in the registry may have been, especially since the "good" copy is now wiped out. Everything else seems to be ok, but the DVD is unavailable. What I don't understand is why Windows cannot load the drivers for this device? Any and all help would be tremendously appreciated. |
